When it comes to fast food, this one is hard to beat really. The pasta is good. The sauce is quite good and to me it compares to Olive Garden for about $4 less per entree. Is it quite as good? Not really, but you eat on real plates, with real silver ware and have bread sticks and food delivered to the table, yet it costs quite a bit less. Their meat sauce is actually quite good.

Prior to going to here, we had a terrible experience at Hotshots. 11 of us left Hotshots, and went to Fazoli's. We told them about our experience and they made sure we didn't experience that again! They were friendly and quick. They even brought us out an entire extra plate of bread sticks!

Very pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the employees. Very eager to help my father and I. Thanks Riley for making my fathers first visit a great experience. We really appreciate your customer service!

When it comes to fast food Italian, this is the place to go. The food is good and the portion sizes are pretty decent. The free bread sticks are a bonus, and other than being a little over buttered are tasty. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I would recommend eating here if you just want to eat Italian food and don't want to cook.

Went for lunch yesterday, 3/25/14. First off, when you walk in, the place reeked of dirty dish water. Placed my order with (only bright spot in restaurant ,pun intended) a very friendly and courteous young manager. Then I went to find a place to sit. Not ONE TABLE was clean.. every one of them was covered in crumbs and dirt. Seats- same deal. This is 11:30am by the way. Once I sat and looked around (I'm still nauseous from the smelly lobby) it's apparent they don't clean anything here. The window sills were fitly with dead bugs all over them. I just couldn't believe they were open and letting people in the doors the way it looked. Management/Ownership should be embarrassed. Ok now the food. I ordered the 5 buck lunch, ravioli w/marinara and penne with meat sauce. Both the penne and ravioli looked old, was cold, and had a hardened film to them. The sauce was burnt (or just old) and I had to scoop away the upper layer of nasty to get to some fresh sauce below. Food was terrible. Breadsticks were cold, hard, and stale.. I will NEVER ever go back to this location. Avoid this place! Filthy, dirty, and nasty food. I never had these issues with the Mid Rivers location by the way...

I'm a huge fan of Fazoli's! They offer pretty good Italian food which isn't terribly expensive. I would gladly give Fazoli's five stars, but the breadsticks are sometimes undercooked. They are not raw, but could definitely use a little more time in the oven. I do like that breadsticks are free when dining in, and there are free soda refills as well. I just can't understand for the life of me why Fazoli's no longer offers bow-tie pasta...isn't that a fairly common type of pasta?

I love Fazolis. The food is not the best in the world but it is very good for fast food. My go to meal here is a kids fettuccine alfredo. The amount of pasta fills me up and I get to eat a nice amount of bread sticks. The bread sticks are the best part about Fazolis. It makes me die a little inside when they cook them incorrectly. If you get them when they are cooked perfectly they will be extremely soft, a little doughy, and have a nice amount of garlic salt.

For fast food it's a good value. They now have real plates, cups, flatware also. Very family friendly.

I think I would've given this place a 4/5 star rating if not for the lackluster service and attitude. The entrees were good, the prices were spot on, and the breadsticks were delicious. Ahh, the breadsticks. This is where the attitude part kicks in. These things are advertised as "as much as you want for free." However, my buddy heads up to the front counter to request enough for our table of three only to be given a hard time from the manager that we're eating more breadsticks than what we ordered. Give me a break. Don't advertise what you don't want to deliver. Even ordering was a chore. It seemed as if they had a new hire manning the register during the lunch hour rush. She was placing orders as to-go for people looking to dine-in and had to have the manager place orders for her. Not a good idea for a Friday lunch rush. If this Fazoli's location can improve upon these things minor inconveniences, it'd be a great place to grab a quick bite.

I got so excited when I saw a commercial for Fazoli's. I've been searching far and wide for this place. I went like four years ago while I was in Anderson, SC and fell in love with their breadsticks and pizza. Back then they served only whole pizza's and no slices. In recent years they started selling slices and I don't think the pizza taste as good. The breadsticks are still good for what there worth, but Fazoli's is not at the top of my list for best food in the world. It is good when you need some where quick to go.

Always say yes to warm breadsticks! Decent pasta and sandwiches, their salads however, suck, minus 1 star for that!

I miss going to this place ever since I left Missouri. The place is not very authentic but it's cheap and it fills you up. The pink lemonade is off the chart and we used to hang out here with my two younger brothers.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
